What Is It
Mycology is the branch of microbiology that is concerned with the study of fungi, their genetical and biochemical properties and taxonomy. Mycologists study the fungi particular to a region, the characteristics of those fungi and the relation to human beings as to how it can benefit or harm human beings.
Qualification
Graduation with Science like BSc with biology or BSc Agriculture followed by masters in Mycology.
Scope
Their major scope for career and growth lies in Universities, Pharmaceutical companies food processing and other agri based industries.
