Education and teaching is essential for troops so that they can keep pace with the advancement in technology, weapon systems, electronics, computerization etc.

Qualification

12th class or equivalent, NDA exam and SSB interview. One can also enter after clearing the Combined Defence Services Exams.

Scope

Education officers and JCO's are enrolled as teachers for educating the troops and officers.
