Package design is planning and design of the packaging of a product. It includes designing as per the shape and size of the product. The designing includes shape and size of the package, color, closure, protection, printing labeling, and the packaging material.

Qualification

Diploma in Packaging designing preferably after 10+2. Metricultion is the minimum qualification to get into the course. Graduation in applied or commercial art is a value addition.

They are much in emand by the packaging manufacturers and designers for all sorts of products ranfing feom pharmaceuticals to electronic goods and edibles to industrial goods and machinery.
