What Is It

Food technologists are involved with the biochemical properties of food and processing, preservation packaging, storing and distribution of food. They engage in food analysis, identifying new sources of healthy food, inventing food processing technology and product development. They ensure that the food is healthy, safe and palatable.

Qualification

Graduation with BSc or Home science followed by masters or PhD in Food and Nutrition.
