5 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE PREPARING FOR BOARDS.

EM BLOG

With just a month before boards, are you looking for tips and tricks that’ll help you in your exams? Then you have come to the right place. We have collated a list of tips that’ll not only help you deal with that February stress, but also bring a smile on your face.

# FirstThingsFirst

Don’t let the board exams get to your head. Treat it as any other exam because it is, just that. You can ace it with the level of preparations you have got going and beat the pressure that it ensues.

1. Break It Up

Breaking up your day into sections gives you the power to ensure that you get 8 hours of sleep and 10 hours of study time. Split this study time further in the ratios of 4:6 or 5:5 to maintain a healthy balance. This division makes sure that you still have 6 hours on hand to eat, bathe, sleep, watch a show, or study some more.

2. Go Out

We don’t want to sound like your parents, but yes, outdoor activities and exercise helps. And helps a lot. The fresh air and natural light can do wonders to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul and serve as a stress buster your parents won’t object to.

3. Stay One Step Ahead

Plan and organise your schedule keeping your date sheet in mind. Don’t try to cover up everything in one day as it will only serve to build an unnecessary pressure on you. Also, be sure to set a deadline for each topic you undertake. Psychologically speaking, your mind will focus on achieving the time-limit you set, thereby. naturally averting any distractions that come your way.

4. Eat Right

Cheating can be effective and good for you! However, this applies only to things other than studies. One way to hack your brain into being more focused, is with food. Eat your fill of Blueberries and Dark Chocolate (yum), much on nuts and flax seeds, eat lots of leafy greens, maybe with some Avocados, mashed up into guacamole. Or for those who like sea food, some fatty fish might give you the push you need. Also remember to stay hydrated, be it by drinking water, or green tea.

5. Study Smart

Why stare at endless pages where concepts are merely listed down, when you can watch interesting videos where concepts come to life? So grab your tab, laptop or mobile phone and pick a topic from our extensive library of fun, easy to understand videos and get learning. Once you’re done understanding the topics, go ahead, and test your fundas with our Web Test Series or with the Weekly Tests on the Extramarks app.

Well, that’s it guys! You all are set for your boards.
