Control and Coordination
In our body the control and coordination of various life processes are the two main functions of the nervous system and hormones. The responses of the nervous system can be reflex action, voluntary action or involuntary action. The nervous system transmits message in the form of electrical impulses.
The nervous system conducts impulse from our sense organs to our muscles.
The chemical coordination can be seen in both plants and animals.
In an organism hormones are produced in one body part and move to another part to achieve the desired effect. The hormonal action is regulated by feedback mechanism.
