Things Where Kept
A place for everything…and everything in its place. This is not a mere phrase to learn, but something to know about too, and if possible, imbibe in one’s daily practice. The efficient handling and storing of things is vital to smooth functioning of any routine. It ensures that the materials are available when needed.
Just as we know that provisions are kept in a pantry and plants are kept in a nursery, there is a variety of things, big and small, that have a dedicated place where they are kept. In English language we have names for such places. For example, grain is kept in granary, clothes looks better when kept properly in a wardrobe; aeroplanes are kept in hangar, and so on. Learning such different words is fun and the added advantage is that it helps in increasing the vocabulary knowledge of a learner of English language.
