Write a reflective essay on neighbours.

    Marks:25
    Answer:

Man is a social animal and he likes to live with people around. His neighbours are the people who live next door to him. Because of their close proximity, and the constant pressure of society, they play a crucial role in our lives. Their significance was recognised by Jesus Christ in one of his ten commandments which says, “Love thy neighbour, as thou love God.” It hints at the view that God lives in all human beings. By loving our neighbours, we would not only have peace and happiness, but would also come closer to God.

If we show love and compassion for our neighbours, they are bound to reciprocate. This relationship can bring about immense joy and make our life easy and peaceful. In today’s fast-pace life and changing society, our friends or relatives are rarely present at the time of need. It is our immediate neighbours who we approach first for help. But human psychology is that we hardly believe in the idea of selfless love for our neighbour. It is natural to find a pinch of jealousy towards our neighbour in every society. If he is better off than us, we envy him or her. On the other hand if he is poor, we feel contemptuous towards him and would not socialise with him. We sometimes fight with them on trivial issues, keeping our ego at front. These are negative traits that go against healthy living environment and should not be allowed to breed.

We forget that they can be a great help to us, and that we never get choice to replace our neighbours. We must therefore try to develop love and respect for our neighbours, and build good relationship with them.

Write a reflective essay on qualities of a good parent.

    Marks:25
    Answer:

Being a good parent is not a daunting task. Parents have many different responsibilities towards their children but there are three in particular that if fulfilled make you a good parent. If you want to become a good parent you have to put your children first.

The first responsibility that I think is very important is being a good example for your children. Parents are examples for their children whether they like it or not. My son observes and copies everything that I do. If they see me doing exercise and eating healthy food, that’s what they will expect to do themselves because that is all that they know. As a parent I want my children to grow in an environment where they can develop habits of honesty, generosity, and responsibility.

The second responsibility that is very much required in every parent is to be able to communicate well with children. It builds confidence in them. Parents should not be afraid to talk to their children. Parents should be able to look at everyday things and events through the eyes of their children who are new in this world and have little knowledge of it. Everyday experiences can give children a wonderful chance to explore and learn the virtues of life.

Third most important thing to do is to take them seriously and listen to them. My six-year-old daughter shows me everything that she learns and it’s very easy to tune her out sometimes, but I think it’s very important not to. It is important to listen because if you don’t give your children enough attention they might try and seek it in a negative way. It is important to listen to your children when they have learned something new or want to tell you something that they are proud of. Children seek your approval, and that gives them confidence. This will develop a strong and healthy relationship between parents and children.

Write a reflective essay on an ideal teacher.

    Marks:25
    Answer:

A teacher’s profession is considered very pious. Yet all teachers are not ideal. We can find teachers who are hot tempered, beat students mercilessly, abuse them, do not keep hygiene, have no affection for students, are interested only in making money, have no fair knowledge of their subject, and are too much inclined to school politics. Certainly they have no right to be called even a teacher.

There are some who possess good qualities that make them to be called ideal teachers. The ideal teacher would always look out for their students, no matter what the situation is. He or she should treat their students as if there were their own kids. Teachers needs to understand their students well enough, and should build a strong relationship with each other so that positive things can work out for the betterment of the students. Very few schools can boast to have such a teacher in their staff. If we are to describe an ideal teacher in a few words, we must say that he should have the ability to serve as a model before his students.

His teaching ability should be such so as to grab the attention of the students easily. He should teach in a way so that even a hard topic can be easily understood by the students. In order to teach well, the teacher himself should have vast and deep knowledge.

An ideal teacher should have unbounded love and affection for his students. He should be one who can be easily approached by them, for he should truly be their friend, philosopher, and guide.

If a student does something wrong and regrets it sincerely, the teacher, instead of punishing him, should deal so tactfully with him that the wrong-dear will ever refrain from doing such things in future. However, if the fault is genuine and there is no regret for it, the teacher will not hesitate to take stern measures against such an action. Students are really lucky to have such teachers.
