A Quick Overview of the Hindi Syllabus for the Class 10 CBSE Board 2023-24.
The written exam for Hindi A in Class 10 of the CBSE is worth a total of 100 marks. The Annual Exam given by the CBSE is worth a total of 80 marks, while the Internal Assessment is worth a total of 20 marks.
The following format is included in the examination pattern:
There will be a total of 17 questionnaires in the CBSE Class 10 Hindi A, which will be separated into two sections: A and B.
The questions in Section A will be factual in nature and will be numbered 1 through 9. There are sub-questions for each question.
In Section B, there will be eight questions of a subjective nature, ranging from Question No. 10 to Question No. 17. There will be an internal choice presented for each of the eight questions.
In the first question “Trying to Read,” you will be given five multiple-choice questions based on an unnamed passage. Each question is worth five points (gadyansh). Students are required to select one paragraph from the two provided options, which are titled Verse I and Verse II respectively.
The previously unseen verse will contain five different questions that make up the interpreting portion of question 2 (worth five points) (kavyansh). In addition, there will be two separate verses, titled Stanza I and Verse II, and students will be required to pick one of these verses.
Question numbers 3 through 6 (syntax, worth 16 points) – These quizzes will include multiple-choice sub-questions (MCQs). There will be a multiple-choice component to each question.
Questions 7–10 (textbook worth a total of 14 points) – The answers to each of these questions would be based on the prose and poetry that can be found in the Hindi syllabus that is necessary for the class (Course A). Every single one of the questions will be a multiple-choice quiz. (Schoolbook and Substitute Syllabus, worth a total of 20 marks)
Questions Nos. 11-13 –There’s a possibility of the questions here being of an interpretation-type, solely based on the chapters that are provided in the handbook and supplement reader (Inter (of 2 and 3 marks) to internal choices will be included in all questions).
Question 14 through Question 17 (For a total of 20 Marks) – In addition, questions are designed to test the students’ writing skills
Question 14 is based on essay writing, and you can choose to write about any of the provided themes.
Question number 15 (अनुच्छेद लेखन ) is going to be about the process of letter writing
Question number 17 (संदेश- लेखन) is going to focus on message writing as its topic.
