NEET 2019 QUESTION PAPER ANALYSIS

Clearing the cut-off of NEET 2023 can become a cakewalk if you have analyzed the past years’ question papers. A thorough analysis of the NEET 2019 question paper reveals that it was easier as compared to the question papers from the past years. There were a significant number of questions that were asked by NCERT in the NEET 2019 question paper. The Physics section was a bit on the tougher side and most of the questions were asked from Modern Physics and Mechanics Electrostatics, Electronics, Ray and wave optics. The topics that had easier questions were the magnetic effect of electric current and current electricity. In total, it is said that almost 80% of the questions in the Physics section were numerically based, which required lengthy calculations.

In Chemistry, some questions in the  NEET 2019 question paper were asked from outside NCERT. These were from hyperconjugation, molecular orbital configurations of heteroatomic molecules, etc. Mostly, the questions were conceptual in nature. There were 19 questions from Physical Chemistry, 12 questions from Organic Chemistry, and 14 questions from inorganic Chemistry.

In Biology, the majority of the questions were asked from Biotechnology and Ecology. This section was a bit easier and about 40 questions were asked from the Zoology section, whereas the Botany section consisted of 50 questions.

NEET 2019 question paper reveals that only a few questions were asked from outside of NCERT, which were predominantly concept-based and not memory-based. In total, there were 452 marks for easy questions, 200 for moderate ones, and a total of 60 marks for difficult questions.
