The Central University Entrance Test CUET was earlier known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test. This exam is conducted all over the country and organised by the National Testing Agency so that a very just system is implemented for applicants to get admitted to various undergraduate, integrated, diploma, certification courses, postgraduate degrees and research programmes in the top 45 central universities in India. Centrally controlled universities are part of the central government, which follows all the rules and etiquette set out by the country. These universities are highly reputed and popular and are one of the best seats for education in the country. Therefore, CUET provides students, irrespective of their cultural, religious, and educational backgrounds, with an opportunity that is not skewed at all.
Under the Societies Registration Act (1860), the Government of India and the Ministry of Education have established the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NTA is an independent and entirely autonomous organisation that helps the country conduct extremely just, efficient, and completely transparent exams that are on par with international test standards. The NTA has devised the best possible way to check the competency of students so that they get admission to the best universities in India.
After the completion of the exam and after the CUET Results are released, students need to go through a CUET Counselling. CUET Counselling is an essential process for every student who is trying to get admitted to a reputed Central or State university in the country. After the results are released and CUET counselling begins at each university,There are separate dates provided for each university.CUET Counselling is based on the merit list that every university puts out based on the CUET score as well as the other criteria that are prescribed by the universities. Each university has its own CUET Cutoff.
Each type of course available at the chosen university has its own set of CUET Counseling dates and procedures. After the results of the CUET are out, the counselling process begins. CUET Counselling is based on the merit list that is put out by each university. The merit list is put out after the results are out. The merit list can be easily accessed through the websites of each university. After the merit list is out, CUET Counselling begins. The CUET Counselling takes place at the concerned universities, and this process might be a little overwhelming for various students, but there is nothing to be scared of.

CUET Spot Counselling
CUET Counselling is an extensive process. Students sometimes do not get the seat in the university that they want. Therefore, there is a provision in the CUET Counselling under which students can get admitted even when they could not get in through the counselling in the earlier rounds. Candidates who applied to the CUET Counseling but did not get in and secure a seat may be admitted to the university through the spot counselling process.Often, students who have secured a seat already relinquish it due to some unprecedented situation. In situations like these, universities often post the details for students who could not secure a seat in the earlier rounds. Students have to follow the website of the universities, and if they qualify, they can get in and secure a seat. Because CUET counselling is a lengthy process, students must be very familiar with the seats that are available at each university before applying. Students must be very smart while they are preparing for CUET Counselling.
