CBSE SYLLABUS- CLASS 1 TO 12

With the objective of imparting quality education and excellence in learning, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was formed as the national board of education in India for public and private schools. CBSE Syllabus for class 12

Changes in New CBSE Syllabus 

Considering the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic in India, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released a revised syllabus for class 10 and 12 board exams for the 2022-2023 session. The CBSE syllabus comprises all the topics that will be asked in term 1 and term 2 of the board exam. Amid the Covid-19 crisis, the students have faced many problems in their studies.

There have been a lot of infrastructural challenges that were faced by students and teachers alike.  To address this situation and to avoid the cancellation of exams like the previous year, it was decided to reduce the CBSE syllabus to some extent. While doing so, CBSE made sure that all the critical topics were included so that the students didn’t feel left behind.

These changes were aimed at rationalizing the syllabus from class 9 to class 12, and the inputs of NCERT were taken into consideration. Along with the term-wise syllabus, the board has also released a special scheme for internal assessments, project-based work, and practicals.

To ensure fair distribution of marks, the board is aiming at making the internal assessment, practical, and project work more credible for the academic year 2023-24, as declared in the official statement.
