Angle:
An angle is created by joining two line segments at one point, or we can say that an angle is the combination of two line segments at a common endpoint. The two-line segments that make up the formed angle are its sides or arms, and this shared point is known as the angle’s vertex.
H3 -Related Angles:
The topics covered under related angles include:
- Complementary Angle: The sum of two angles’ measurements is 90°.
- Supplementary Angle: The sum of the two angles’ measurements is 180°.
- Adjacent Angle: They have a common vertex and a common arm, but no common interior points.
- Linear pair: A pair of adjacent angles with opposite rays on their non-common sides.
H3 -Pairs of Lines:
There are 2 types of Pair of lines. They are Transversal lines and Intersecting lines. Let us understand them in detail.
- Intersecting Lines:
When 2 lines cross each other at one and only one point then these lines are called intersecting lines and the point at which they intersect is called the point of interaction.
