Chapter 14: Phool

This poem beautifully portrays the beauty of a flower. The poet claims that these flowers are the only reason why the garden is so lovely. He visits the garden and smiles after admiring the various flowers. The poet appears to be being welcomed into the garden by the swaying flowers. Flowers never lose their joy, no matter what the season. The poet tries to get through to the audience that we should always be joyful and smiling.

Chapter 15: Batchit

The dialogue between Shobha and Tarun, who recently reconnected, is presented in this chapter. Both of them got to talking about their classes, schools, teachers, etc. Additionally, they discussed their preferred sports, such as Kho-Kho, cricket, Antakshari, etc. Some key terms, including मै पड़ता/ ती हूँ, तुम पड़ते/ ती हो and others, are clarified in this chapter.

Chapter 16: Shillong Se Phone

The five main characters in this chapter are Nanku, Amarnath, Rama, Suresh and Shyamla. Amarnath had called Rama from Shillong, but Nanku answered the phone and spoke with Rama instead. Rama, Amarnath’s sister, informed him of the health of her entire family. She then handed a phone receiver to Suresh, Amarnath’s son-in-law, so they could continue speaking. After asking Amarnath how his wife was doing, Suresh called Shyamla to continue their talk. Amarnath’s niece, Shyamla, informed him about her music lessons. Amarnath wished her luck before hanging up the phone.

Chapter 17: Titli

The poem Titli by Narmada Prasad Khare is all about a butterfly and expresses her beauty in straightforward yet captivating language. It talks about how a butterfly’s vibrant wings draw people to the garden. The poet also questions her on why she avoids approaching others and what causes her shyness.

Chapter 18: Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar

This chapter focuses on Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, a well-known academic and social worker. He was well-liked in Bengal and lived there. Someone once went to the station to greet Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar but discovered there was no porter there. He became enraged and began criticising the train station. A different passenger who turned up from the same train inquired about his issue and assisted him by carrying his suitcase. The entire narrative consists of who that man is and what happens next.

Chapter 19: Pradarshani

The exhibition is the focus of this chapter. The major protagonists of the story are Salma and Sujata, and Sujata informs Salma about the exhibition that had been held in Pragati Maidan. She then spoke to her about the handcrafted goods created from materials like earth, bamboo and wood. They were quite lovely stuff. The exhibition featured several performances, including Bharatnatyam, Odissi dance, Kuchipudi and others.

Chapter 20: Chitthi

Prakash Manu wrote a poem that explains the significance of the letter. It describes how this letter moves from one place to another and provides the reader with various news. The poet goes on to explain how the letter forges a bond between individuals and pulls them together even though they are separated geographically.

Chapter 21: Angulimal

The tale of a thug named Angulimal is told in this chapter of the NCERT Books PDF Class 6 Hindi Durva. He was a really wicked man who randomly killed people. He then created a necklace out of their fingers, earning him the name Angulimal. People avoided crossing that bush because they were so afraid of the Angulimal. When Gautama Buddha first arrived in the hamlet, everyone forbade him from entering the bush. But he was not at all afraid, and reassured the others, stating that there was nothing to worry.. The rest of the story is what came next.

Chapter 22: Yatra Ki Tayari

Two children named Nisha and Nishant are the focus of this tale; their father asked them to spend the Dussehra holidays in Mysore. But according to his father, there weren’t many chances to secure a reservation for Mysore, so they ultimately chose to go to Kanyakumari. They prepared for their trip and chose to depart from Rajdhani Express. Their father then instructed Nishant to book a rail ticket.

Chapter 23: Hathi

This poem, Hathi, by renowned poet Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena, is all about an elephant. He is singing while sitting in the forest. A mosquito suddenly crept into his ear and began bothering the elephant. He began vigorously shaking his ears, and an unusual sound of fat fat-fatfat began to emerge. Everyone in the bush started chuckling at this occurrence and debating who was a better singer, the elephant or the mosquito, as the mosquito was also providing music. The poem is hilarious and entertaining throughout.

Chapter 24: Doctor

The three main characters in this chapter are the Doctor, Sushila and Ramesh. Sushila informed the physician that Ramesh had a fever. Ramesh responded to the doctor’s question about his issue by saying that his cough and fever prevented him from falling asleep. He was instructed to breathe deeply as the doctor placed one end of his stethoscope against his chest. He then offered him some medications and provided him with some safety tips for a speedier recovery.

Chapter 25: Jaipur Se Patra

This chapter is formatted like a letter. Amar described his trip to Jaipur in a letter to his father. Then he informed him of many tourist attractions in Jaipur, including the museum, Ramniwas Bagh, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Then he discussed his trip to Amer Kila, which was 14 kilometres from Jaipur. It was enormous and very old. Amer Qila Sheesh Mahal was interesting to explore. Then he went on to explain several Rajasthani dishes, including Dal-Bati Churma and others. He ended his message by stating that he would undoubtedly send an additional letter from Udaipur.

Chapter 26: Badhe Chalo

A March song by Dwarka Prasad Maheshwari gives the poet’s advice to keep going no matter what occurs. You should not be afraid of any circumstances or scenarios and approach everything bravely and calmly. In this poem, the author demonstrates how perseverance, hard work and a strong sense of purpose can lead to success in any endeavour.

Chapter 27: Vyarth Ki Shanka

This narrative is modelled on a village-dwelling couple. They brought up a weasel because they were an unmarried couple (Nevla). They both considered that nevla to be their child. The couple was overjoyed that their family was now complete after the female gave birth to a girl child a few days later. They now began taking care of their daughter while ignoring the weasel. Although her husband did not share her belief, the lady had always worried that this weasel might hurt her daughter. Read the entire account to learn what transpired next.

Chapter 28: Gadha aur Siyar

It’s all about a donkey and a jackal in this tale. They always remained together and were close friends. They set out together in quest of food under the full moon’s light. When they both arrived close to the Kakdi farms, their hunger increased dramatically. They went to the farm and ate the same to satisfy their hunger. The donkey wished to croon a song because it was so joyful. He was warned by Jackal to refrain from singing so the farm owner wouldn’t come and beat them. However, the donkey could not stop singing. The entire narrative consists of whether the farm owner showed up and what followed.
