This is a conversational story between two friends named Shobha and Tarun. The characters talk about various things in their life. This story is mostly aimed at improving the understanding of phrases in the Hindi language and their uses.

Chapter 16- Shillong Se Phone

Shillong Se Phone is also a conversational story. It revolves around five characters who have different conversations among themselves through the telephone. This chapter will further explain the usage of phrases in the Hindi language.

Haathi is a beautiful poem composed by Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena. The poem tells an interesting story about an elephant and a mosquito and the singing competition they conducted among themselves.

Chapter 24- Doctor

This story contains three characters named Doctor, Sushila and Ramesh. The story illustrates an incident when Sushila and Ramesh decided to consult the Doctor when Ramesh got infected with a fever.

Chapter 25- Jaipur Se Patra 

Jaipur Se Patra is a letter written by a character named Amar to his father describing the places he visited in Jaipur such as Hawa mahal, Amar Qila, Sheesh Mahal, etc.

Badhe Chalo is a poem composed by Dwarika Prasad Maheshwari. The poem describes the lessons in life. The poet motivates the students to stay motivated regardless of the situation.

Chapter 1- Awadhpuri Mein Ram

Awadhpuri Mein Ram is the first chapter in NCERT book class 6 Hindi. This chapter talks about the Kingdom on the banks of the Saryu River named Awadh and Its ruler Dasharath. Some of the other characters in this chapter are Ram, Laxman and Bharat.
