JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern

The JEE Main exam in 2021 was held in four sessions in the months of February, March, April, and May.  The exam was a computer-based test that was conducted in the morning and evening shifts. The exam paper had 90 questions: 20 questions in section A and 10 questions in section B for each subject – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The students had to solve a total of 75 questions: 20 questions in section A and  any  5 questions in section B for each subject. The total marks were 300 and the exam had to be completed in 3 hours. Section A contained Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and section B contained Numerical based questions. The Marking Scheme was +4 marks for the correct answer and -1 marks for the incorrect answer  (negative marking only in section A).
