Unit  III Cell: Structure and Function
Unit  IV Plant Physiology
Unit  V Human Physiology

The basic idea that humans are the ultimate sum of a process involving just a few molecular interactions 4 billion years ago is a mind-boggling one. How could any curious mind resist this amazing mystery we've flipped into? This simple, measurable mechanism of evolving biological systems beautifully unifies basic matter and energy with the composition and structure of DNA, complex molecular interactions, cellular architecture, multicellular organisms that seem to be the same in such a way that they transcend single cells. Yet they do. The discoveries of biological processes have generated conscious knowledge of life in ever greater steps.

Biology and evolution provide us with a sensitive context in which to examine ourselves, physiologically, cognitively, emotionally, socially— almost everything human— as well as the biology and larger environment in which we belong. Not only that, but an understanding of evolutionary principles helps us understand how to systematically create and sustain or break complex systems.

Apart from all the broader, deeper value of biology, the everyday relevance of the biological research in medicine, agriculture, ecology, and psychology is demonstrated. And philosophy, faith, advertising, fashion, art and politics.

There are many reasons why there is always a special place in the world for this subject. Biology, for beginners, is not solely the study of humans, but also of any organism that shares this room with humans. This helps students to respect the world and all its people in order to know how to protect the earth best. For example, zoology teaches about animals and in doing so students understand their contribution to our lives. When students know the importance of other living organisms everyone coexists better.
The basic parts of Biology are taught at lower levels of study, whereas in higher learning institutions one can study the advanced, more specialized parts later. Last but not least, students can only note that Biology is totally different from, for example, economic and tax advance loans.
