The ICSE Modern Foreign Language Syllabus is divided into two parts. .

Examination:
- Students must compose a brief composition that includes directions, explanations, narratives, or descriptions for the Examination composition.
- Students are required to draft a formal or informal letter. The letter’s appropriate formatting is one of the marking criteria.
