JEE Main Question Paper Online 2019 (11 Jan – Morning)

JEE Main Question Paper Online 2019 (11th Jan Morning)

JEE Main is an entrance exam for engineering, architecture, and planning aspirants to secure admissions to engineering institutions like the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), NITs (National Institute of Technology), etc. It tests your knowledge on a variety of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics topics through multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value questions.

While the multiple-choice questions test conceptual understanding of the JEE Main syllabus and analytical abilities, numerical value questions test your accuracy while solving problems in the short time frame of 3 hours.

The marking scheme of JEE Main question papers is pretty straightforward. You secure  4 marks for every correct answer and -¼ marks for every incorrect answer. Since such negative marking can lower your exam scores drastically, you must only choose and attempt questions you are most confident about.

JEE papers will also feature an additional section that includes 10 questions per subject wherein you need to attempt any 5 questions per subject. These questions do not have negative marking.

Now, there is no doubt clearing the exam requires a thorough knowledge of the exam syllabus. But at the same time, you should also solve as many JEE Main mock tests and past year question papers as possible to put your knowledge to the test. The best part is you can readily find such old papers online.

Need a question paper to test your skills right away? Here’s a past year paper to help you out.
