JEE Main Question Paper Online 2019 (12th Jan – Morning)

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) tests more than just your knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is designed to test how well you can recall concepts under pressure with time restrictions.

Thus, while preparing for the exam, you should not limit yourself to covering the JEE Main syllabus only. You should also prepare for the exam as a whole.

To get yourself in the mindset, solve JEE Main mock tests, sample papers, and previous years’ question papers. Attempt them as if you were appearing for the actual exam. Set a time for every mock exam and calculate your score afterwards.

A few months before your exam, you should make it a goal to solve one paper every day. The more papers you solve, the better you will be able to:

  • Decide how you can approach the paper
  • Plan how to manage your time
  • Identify which sections you can attempt first

Tips to Solve JEE Main Question Paper Online

  1. Maintain a calm demeanour: Stay calm before the paper and be confident in your preparation. Do not let exam anxiety get in your way. Keeping calm will help you focus better, recall concepts quickly, and score more marks in JEE Main.
  2. Read the instructions carefully: You may think that you are familiar with the instructions, but on the day of the exam, you may discover a different pattern or changed marking scheme. So, never skip reading the instructions.
  3. Attempt easy questions first: Before you start solving, scan the paper and mark the questions that you think are easy. Solve them first.
  4. Manage your time well: If you think you are spending too much time on a question, mark it and come back to it later.
  5. Skip the questions you cannot solve: Remember that the test has negative marking. So, if you think you cannot solve a question, skip it and move on to the next one. Do not resort to guesswork or waste time puzzling out the solution.
