- Read the instructions carefully: You may think that you are familiar with the instructions, but on the day of the exam, you may discover a different pattern or changed marking scheme. So, never skip reading the instructions.
- Attempt easy questions first: Before you start solving, scan the paper and mark the questions that you think are easy. Solve them first.
- Manage your time well: If you think you are spending too much time on a question, mark it and come back to it later.
- Skip the questions you cannot solve: Remember that the test has negative marking. So, if you think you cannot solve a question, skip it and move on to the next one. Do not resort to guesswork or waste time puzzling out the solution.
