JEE Main Question Paper Online 2019 (11th Jan – Evening)

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is a standardised computer-based test. The score you obtain in the exam qualifies you for admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning in prestigious institutions in India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the exam. Students who qualify are eligible for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch programs in premier technical institutes such as the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), deemed universities, and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs). They also become eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, conducted for admission to IITs. However, the exam is quite challenging.

If you want to crack the exam, you should be thorough with the JEE Main syllabus and must practise regularly. Only then, you will be able to refine your problem-solving abilities, increase your speed, and reduce your exam anxiety considerably.

Advantages of Solving JEE Main Question Paper Online 2019

Most students religiously solve question banks and chapter-wise exercises from reference books. They also solve ‘daily practice problem’ sheets while revising. However, simply solving problems is not enough.

These resources will surely help cement your concepts and understanding of the subject. But you should keep in mind that the exam tests you in different ways.

Here is where solving question papers can help you. Full-length question papers are helpful because they contain questions from various chapters in a random order, unlike question banks. By attempting a variety of questions in succession, you will be able to recall different concepts and formulae faster.

A few months before the exam, devote as much time as you can to solve sample papers, JEE Main mock tests, and previous years’ papers. By doing so, you will:

  • Become familiar with the exam pattern
  • Be able to assess your speed
  • Understand how to approach the paper, which sections to solve first, and which ones to skip
  • Learn the weightage of each subject and topic
  • Be more confident in your abilities and score well in the final test
  • Reduce exam anxiety and focus better
